I have just begun my journey as a Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) student at University of Western Ontario. For over seven years now, I have been working part-time at the Toronto Public Library (TPL). Recently graduating from York University with a Bachelors of Science (BSc.) in Kinesiology and Health Science and a Minor in Health Management, my goal is to take a different approach to promoting physical activity and health. Libraries not only provide information but also act as catalysts to address social problems. I believe that the library system provides a great platform for individuals of all ages to learn about major health concerns.
I would like to take YOU along with me on my journey as an MLIS student and a future librarian.
